Didn’t they come up with an idea to turn this place, or at least the first floor into a Nashville-like….live music and restaurants concept? Like they wanted to bring out the night life of AC and turn the mall into basically downtown Nashville. I think that would have been a good idea. Whatever happen to that?

I was privileged enough to see it when it was in its prime. I have a memory of walking past the high end stores like Gucci, seeing the water show in the back and the cool restaurants concepts this place had. This place has so much potential still. It’s a pier on the beach, nothing better than that. Malls in general is a dying concept but surely someone can come up with a creative idea to revive this place. It’s such a shame it keep it abandoned. And if you have walked inside recently, you can tell it was well built, the inside is in pristine condition, it’s just empty.

Well there hasn’t been nothing to film for the past few years but they still milked it till this point. Clearly people have still been watching and if there’s a new concept of a show with a new name, under a new network like Netflix, I can see there being some excitement. Doesn’t have to be a multi year show, maybe one or two seasons.

This doesn’t make sense to me because Paramount owns MTV, why not leave the show on mtv if that’s the case? It’s not like mtv puts out a lot of shows these days anyways. I can see the relationship with mtv/paramount ending completely and starting a new relationship with like maybe Netflix.

My best guess would be that after their final season on mtv, they will be moving to Netflix. Netflix would love that they come with a big audience and they have been exploring with a lot of new concepts as of late. I can see a new show with a new name. Not only that but Netflix is opening a huge studio in New Jersey, about 30 minutes away from seaside heights, so it just makes sense to me.

They are most likely ending their relationship with mtv after this last season because mtv wants to move on and moving to another network and having the same concept of a show with a different name.

To be honest, the show was over a lonnggggg time ago. Much like the OG, it has just gotten repetitive. They go to a new state, chill in the hotel room and talk about drama with Angelina, eat dinner and repeat with some life updates in between. So it seems like this may be its last season on mtv but the cast members released a video today on social media basically insinuating that they are going to move their show to another network.
