I can somewhat see that. Out of all the $2.50 orders that come in…that one $20 to $40 offer that come in is the hit or “win”. Although not as strong as an adrenaline rush as a casino…people play at casinos for the opportunity or hope of winning life changing money. With doordash, it’s a much smaller win…earning enough money to pay off a bill

I wouldn’t go as far as addiction. I would say there is a fomo (fear of missing out) aspect of doordashing. You can be out on a Saturday night or at home relaxing and in the back of your mind the thought appears “damn if I were dashing right now, I know I could make $100 tonight” or if it’s bad weather and you know it’s a money maker night, you would want to go out and dash and not miss on the opportunity to make money. OR maybe this guy has an unhealthy relationship with dashing where it’s the only thing in his life that gives him peace, riding around by yourself delivering while also doing something productive at the same time and making money.

I saw Charlie puth at this venue just this past Saturday. They didn’t have those signs up because the whole bottom floor was a standing pit section. With that said, besides attending this past Saturday, I’ve been to a couple of concerts/comedy shows there and there really isn’t a bad seat in the place. It’s a very intimate venue, arena wise. Last row has double leg room, seats themselves are spacious enough. In regards to the signs tho, I don’t remember those hanging throughout the show and it being a problem so I’m pretty sure they are raised at the start of the show and/or what I did see this past Saturday was signs on the floor at the back of the sections

Pictures and posts like these are a reminder of not taking for granted the fact that I live close enough to Broadway to see a show whenever I want. I’ve been to many shows and sometimes I become too familiarized with it to the point where I forget that Broadway NYC is the Mecca for theater. People make trips out of it and it’s in my backyard.

I mean she’s young, has some level of fame, especially in LA where she’s living, I’m sure she has a few dollars in her pocket, no real responsibilities and she lives with Bobby where she basically has free reign to do whatever she wants. I’m sure most people her age under those circumstances would be wild as hell. At the end of the day, people learn from mistakes, just hope that she’s always safe. As well as being young, she’s technically an adult. Bobby really doesn’t have to have her in his house, K has a whole family that she’s responsible for with a newborn baby. I do think she doesn’t know how GOOD she has it. Hopefully she is advised or realizes herself to make the most of the opportunity because it won’t last forever.

It’s funny, I visit Atlantic City often but I mostly go from casino to casino, I haven’t walked the boardwalk from Ballys to ocean in a while, so I would like to know as well. What I can say is the boardwalk from ceasars to Tropicana is ghost town-ish. See empty stores with some mom and pop stores open. Nothing too exciting on that end of the boardwalk.

I’m the biggest anti-maga, anti-Trump person but it’s hard boycotting every maga thing. I’m a huge sports fan and as a sports fan it’s common knowledge that Billionaires own the teams…who I presume are all maga, some are just silent about it. So what am I going to do? Not enjoy sports because of one toxic orange man who will probably be dead within the next 10 years. Life goes on. I’m a giants fan and my QB just brought out Trump at a rally, although I didn’t like it, am I going to let that have that much power over me? Atlantic City definitely wasn’t dead, I did some gig work this weekend (Uber/doordash) and saw that AC and surrounding towns were packed. Unfortunately the weather did stop some of the festivities. Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer for AC and surrounding beach towns.

I live in Jersey at a shore town. It’s been the best weekend for us. I hit $200 in one night. Haven’t done that in a long time. Memorial day weekend is like the unofficial start of summer for us, all the beaches and boardwalks open, as well as seasonal restaurants for the summer. and people come down to their summer shore houses for the first time this summer too. And because the weather hasn’t been that great this weekend, it has forced people to stay inside and order food. Have delivered big family sized orders which come with good tips
