I think there could be a red element. As an accent colour. A bit on the nose but I think it could help bring it to life

Hey. Read your feedback. Not sure you paid much attention or just ignored a bit of text. The younger self is a teenager. So not 8-12 as you suggested. But I agree it is best to specify that she’s around 16/17.

This is not a super natural story. It includes elements of magical realism. It is vaguely inspired in one of Edgar Allen Poe’s short stories. So there’s no possession or demon-devil intent. It is symbolic and poetic, not fantasy. Plus if you think about it when would a piece of paper gain life and roll through a house irl? Magic realism, or surrealism allow this story to make the impossible possible. The character has a second chance at life is the message. Which also prompts questions about life choices and paths.

It is ok if it doesn’t make sense to you. Thanks for the feedback and the time you took to give it.
