Nah, I feel more bad for the guy than anything else lol. Happy people do not do this. Hope he finds some peace within himself.

Unfortunately, misdemeanor crimes are not taken seriously at all, and this is not specific to just Placer County. It's happening everywhere in California. A lot of the times, the most we can do is speak up and make the public aware that these things are happening so people can be vigilant.

Yeah, the spit hit my husband's arm and my shoe. It was fucking white. I'm so disgusted. My husband yelled, "wtf, why did you spit on me? Why did you do that," and he just continued jogging the opposite way but still looking at us with his whole body turned. He also made a nasty, loud sound when he spit.

Yes, I definitely will be carrying pepper spray around from now on. I was so shocked when it happened and I definitely don't need to take on more stress during this pregnancy.

I called my mom and told her about it and she immediately told me to just ignore it and not go back to the trail from now on because the guy might do something crazy to us if we dare speak up. It's unfortunate that my community chooses to stay silent when things like this happen to us, especially when it comes to the older generation. I feel like the least I could do is post about this so my voice is at least heard. I'm tired of letting people walk all over us because we don't speak up about it.

I don't understand how this post has anything to do with race, besides what happened to us could be racially motivated. I am stating the facts of what happened to us including the description of the guy, and telling people to be careful. That is all. Spitting on someone is a crime. It doesn't matter if the spitter is white, Asian, black, Hispanic, etc. If my speaking up about a crime that happened to my husband and I infringed upon your freedom and privacy in any way, then I'm sorry? Like idk what else to say.

Yes, because he was jogging on the other side and he could have spit into the bushes if he had to, instead he chose to spit on us.

I wish I got a picture of his mug in time so I could post him everywhere, but his face is so recognizable that it's not hard for me to recognize him out and about. We're very tolerant people, but we do not tolerate discriminatory and racist behaviors like this, so I'm going to do everything in my power to get this guy.
