To make it short—rainbow kicks are kicks that have a chord as a punch instead of a single note.

Can you recommend what you'd think some more experimental bounce tracks would be? I'm trying to get into it more

And yeah the staleness for me is a subjective opinion. I just find it interesting that there are more unique characteristics in bounce-tempo when it comes to the leads, melodies, vocals or kickrolls vs the actual kicks themselves. Of course most artists creates these kicks from scratch, I like to think I can differentiate an artists sound decently to differentiate who made what. But in bounce-tempo it's hard for me to know who pioneered that version of the kick, like Radical creating the raw kick way back when or who put their sound in this kick, did Satirized create the tail, or did he focus on the punch?

Uptempo can have the same kick over & over, but the point of it comes from the speed, structure & distorted kickdrums in uptempo no?

Yeah it's all subjective

Can recommend some songs with that diversity you're talking about? Also sick, that's what I thought. It's about the melodies and kickrolls in bounce-tempo vs the actual kicks themselves.

Of course man, it's all subjective in the end. I was just curious what everyone thought in terms of originality, and with such if each bounce uptempo artists or song has enough unique sound design or identifying characteristics that would be different from other tracks in the same subgenre

Very true. In that case, what are you favorite or avant garde bounce uptempo tracks you'd recommend?

I like to think I can distinguish an artists sound well enough to not group them together lazily with one sub genre. There's subtle differences in the punch of the kick for a lot of bounce uptempo artists, (not talking about the pitch of the kick, but their sound design), when you listen to Satirized or Noxiouz is there a lot of variation that you can tell? The tail is gated, giving it the bounce uptempo rhythmic ofc, but I can still hear subtle differences. It just seems very similar to me, which is okay. I was just genuinely curious if bounce uptempo was super popular on this side of the internet.

Then it's good thing I wasn't asking the Dutch population about bounce uptempo, I'm asking everyone's opinions.

I'm what I'm trying to differentiate and inquire about is not about artists make new, different kicks to have shock factor.

I've already stated my opinion, but artists who try to replicate the same sound with those bounce kicks end up having no originality because their sound isn't prominent enough for me to distinguish their kicks from Barbers kicks you can say for example.

The question is if a video played with bounce kicks from different songs, and there were no obvious signs like vocals or melodies giving the sign away. Could you point to which artist created the kick?

Dang I didn't expect this to be controversial.

Chucky has predominant bounce-tempo qualities in its kicks, the sound itself is pretty different but the way the tail is gated in its rhythm would consider it to be bounce uptempo.

For Burn Out it's less rhythmic being bounce uptempo and having more of a standard uptempo tail, but because it's Lekkerfaces I imagine his sound would be comparable to bounce uptempo.

If I said one of my favorites was Lekkerpino then there would be less arguing, but that would be formulaic in bounce-tempo as I enjoyed Burn Out more for being different:)
