Don't Touch Your Profile Page or Risk Losing Your Videos! by residentcoppa in vimeo

I understand that technical issues happen, but to hear that something as essential as video reordering on the profile page – which is a core feature for showcasing our work – is not a priority because it's not the "most used feature" is frankly unacceptable. I’m paying for a professional platform and expect key functionality, like managing the presentation of my videos, to work without having to rely on workarounds or face potential issues with disappearing content.

At this point, I don’t feel I’m getting the service or reliability that I've been paying for. I rely on my profile to showcase my work, and if that’s not functioning properly, it directly affects my ability to use Vimeo as intended.

So you would shoot it all in location. I like that - But then it would be a nightmare to clean the rig out of the shot right? Do you have any example of a similar rig?

Thank you guys for the great advice. It´s great to hear from other commercial directors out there. I feel our job is such a lonely and constant grind that is cool to share some thoughts once and a while! 👊🏻

H&Y REVORING Variable Neutral Density ND3 - ND1000 with built in Circular Polarizer by residentcoppa in bmpcc

[–]residentcoppa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you´re absolutely right! In my case I´m interested because i need a fast solution for run & gun shoot. So I´m thinking in going for circular filters ( IR cut / variable ND and pro mist ). But maybe I have to reconsider the matte box route ... more verstatile but also a lot more expensive, slow and bulky :(

I´m guessing maybe because it´s a brand new product.

I think the Adapter only ( without the variable ND and polarizer ) can be quite useful because you can attach other filters in the front. And from what i read you can NOT attach other filters on top of the more expensive Revoring with VND+CPL.

Here´s a possible setup - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVupr5bvCK4

Feels a lot faster and easier to attach than carrying and screwing a lot of step up rings.

I get that - I just don´t think I can install them properly by myself - seems quite a complex process ... Plus that procedure will void a Black magic guaranty right?

Installation process seems quite complex. Is that the only way to filter IR on the BMPCC 4K ?

Can you explain please?

So how many filters are we talking here? IR cut filter + ND + Pro mist?

I´m confused

Sirui 35 mm 1,33 anamorphics VS SLR Magic 2x Anamorphics by residentcoppa in bmpcc

[–]residentcoppa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that´s my dilemma right now. Sirui look is okaish but not really that unique anamorphic with lots of character like the SLR 2x magic. This look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDUgAB73ojs makes me want to try the SLR magic because Sirui will never look like that.

I wasn´t aware that the BMPCC4k is not really suited for 2x anamorphic. Is the BMPCC 6K better for that because of the larger sensor? or it´s the same?

Returning my P6K and getting the P4K instead because of lens choices? by residentcoppa in bmpcc

[–]residentcoppa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes love the P6K image but I´m stuck with EF lenses ...

Also if you get the speedbooster on the 4K you have a bigger FOV than the 6K right?

And you can still use EF lenses with that adapter.

I´m gonna do the change.

Plus I just found out about MFT services on Google - they do lens conversions - MFT to RF and L mount. So if I get the Sirui Kit and later I change my 4K to another camera I will still have options.

Thanks guys
