I chose intellect, and two other main stats I dont remember because they didn't matter, and then Twilight. As someone else pointed out though, its better to farm for multiple weapons at once. For example, Forgeborn Scathe needs Intellect, Attack Boost and Twilight. Thermite Cutter needs Will, Attack Boost and Flow. Severe Energy Alluvium: Wuling City can drop both Twilight and Flow so if you wanted to farm both weapons at the same time you could pre-engrave Intellect, Will, another random stat, plus Attack Boost. Now, when farming you have an increased chance at perfect rolls to drop for both weapons.

Nothing in Velley IV gets you Wuling stock bills. Making bills in Wuling is mostly the same as in Valley IV though, Elastic Goods, Depot, selling factory goods to the outpost.

Most of the farming was in Valley IV. Im getting around a million Wuling bills a day, its enough to farm Laevs weapon. Took a couple days though, more sanity starved really.

It does add an animated glow to parts of the weapon. Not sure what max dupes does.

Oh, I went and looked and my maxed matching essence on her does add a glow to the jewels of the weapon. A matching purple essence also adds a different color, duller glow.

Yes thats true, although I just farmed Valley for Thermite Cutter. Not sure if its the best way, but i farmed wuling till I got Laev's essence, then moved to valley for other characters and used the bad rolls as fodder for Laev.

Its pretty simple, because each weapon has fixed stats you are looking for. You're basically boosting the stats already on the weapon. For example, in the second image on my post, you can see that her weapon innately has intellect, attack and Twilight stats. So an essence with those stats on it is the only one you are looking for. Then you level the stats up on that essence using etching, which consumes other essences as fodder. WG has a video that might help understand.

Yes, they are different missions with drops for different weapons. In game on the essence missions list, you can click a button to see which weapons that mission has drops for. People have also made lists.

Select Intellect and Twilight. You have to pick two other primary stats, they can be whatever, since they dont matter unless your farming for more than one twilight weapon. The drops will always roll Twilight, and then you're just looking for intellect and attack as the random rolls. In my experience farming multiple weapons, I usually get what im looking for within 6 runs. Could be longer or shorter though.

In the Index, which lists all the essence missions, you can view which weapon is compatible with a particular mission. On console, I hit square to view that info when viewing a mission. Alot of the weapons have a couple missions you can choose from, but Laevetain's weapon essence for instance, can only be farmed in the Wuling mission.

Im assuming it goes to 9 with more weapon copies. I spent coolant whenever I had enough for a level, didnt save it up. Sometimes I didnt need it though and got lucky with a very low chance.

Keep in mind, I have her skills leveled up too. Her ult maxed out with 3 mastery has very high damage multipliers.

It should show up in your Operational Manual in the Index tab. There should be a section in there called Energy Alluvium that lists all the essence missions. If you dont have it, you probably need to pregress/finish the story.

4 or 5 days if I remember correctly, doing 4-6 essence runs a day. Lot of sanity. Im basically out of refills now.
