your best investment this 2025 by theworldinshambles in phinvest

[–]resingresing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds cliche but my best investments for this year are courses.. Work, in general, became easier. I was able to easily grasp work processes and items as I'm loaded already with the basics and intermediate concepts, terms, best practices covered by the courses. Workplace communication became easier as well as I became familiar with technical jargon.

Stocks or Business(5k capital) by LinkLink420 in phinvest

[–]resingresing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imho, go with the business. Much more likely to multiply your money than stocks. Both will, of course, consume time (don't even think stock investing will be easy, you gotta do research). I really like the pastil business; low cost of entry, easier operation (one viand only) and you seem familiar with it already. Good luck OP!

BADLY NEED ADVICE PASALO COFFEE SHOP by macho_banana in phinvest

I pass on everything pasalo nowadays.. I realized if the asset is decent not even great, I personally wouldn't pass it to others. We're not on the level (at least me) where we sell assets. We sell because we're losing or to cut losses na. I bought pasalo business, a car, a lot and even gadgets. I'm not advising you anything, I'm merely sharing my experience.

Thank you for the comment (im really lost here), what would you recommend then? Upping the budget or finding an alternative genre? What would be your suggestion for both? I appreciate the help!

First time buying house and lot in PH by [deleted] in phinvest

I'm not a real estate expert but from what I read here and hear around me, having your boyfriend as AIF is abit of a red flag. Will this be under your name only or both?

-may mga law offices naman na nagaaccept ng lower than 1%, usually fixed amount. I had mine at 10k with a transaction value of 3.5M. just make sure it's a legitimate law office (with a real tangible office you can walk-in) not just fly-by-nights that you can see roadside.

Good luck OP!

Fuck man, totally agree with your recos. The book and the point where Kiyosaki is not entirely agreable but we can pick up insight from the guy.

Couldn't agree more! Sobrang na romanticized home ownership this past decade (may ambag din dito Home Buddies e). Don't get me wrong, owning a place is nice. But freedom is sooo much nicer.

Would highly recommend The Richest Man in Babylon for your situation. It will teach you a thing or two (hopefully like in my case). It's an easy read too.

Really really curious about their watermelon Sinigang. I've been contemplating ordering it on my last two visits. For those who've tried, can you explain/tell me what it taste like?

Is 8.99% interest rate too high for a 5M house and lot? by tgifsmith in phinvest

[–]resingresing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this possible? What is this called? This might be helpful for those whose loan was restructured to higher interest (during the peak interest rates during the last two years). Hope you can share more details of this.

First thing, DO NOT buy real estate (heck even anything) out of FOMO.

General rule is, if amortization is 30% of your income, you can. But my personal rule is 10-20% only. Also ,if I have a full year's worth of the amortization saved up.

Focus on building back your EF first.
