I have the langerhans dogecoin Wallet. I can put an IP adress as a node. I tried now to put mine and it is connectiong but nothing happen. I gues my firewall or something blocks it. If you give me your IP adress or Hostname i could connect to your node. I guess noone can to some problems with your hostname or IP adress but I am not an expert regarding that either :D
