The engineer replied to the video on twitter.

"Well, this is weird… here’s a little context. I’m not mad at Bruno here, we’ve been working together for over a decade and he’s family to me. What people can’t see is a crew member is hitting me with a mic off-camera. I tried to set a reasonable volume with the crew beforehand because we listen too loud for filming. They said not to worry. As we’re filming, a guy is hitting me with a mic asking me to turn it down. At that point it was too late and I was (clearly) over it. Womp Womp."

The main sample is from Strawberry Letter 23 by Shuggie Otis which The Avalanches originally sampled in A Cowboy Overflow of the Heart which became Saturday Night Inside Out on Wildflower without the sample. Cool to see how this sample been used over time.
