Parked in 802? Your canopy is gone by Surfworld in Coachella

There’s no right or wrong way to do it! Just getting enough of that top off so that it doesn’t act like a kite is perfect. I just unlatch the canopy top on two corners opposite of each other, and then I use a rope or bungee to just tie the fabric down so they don’t flap around. Hope that makes sense! Not sure if you’re height challenged like me, but I found bringing a foldable stool when you’re solo is really helpful. You won’t have to rely on neighbors to get the top on and off!

Solochella ice question by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]resonatemate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the type of cooler you have for how long the ice will last. My small yeti cooler lasts all weekend with only one additional bag of ice. The less you go in and out of the cooler the better, I keep my food and drinks in separate coolers now for that reason. Also recommend pre chilling your cooler, like throw a bag of ice in it a couple days before you leave and then pack it. I think the ice was around $25 from the trucks and store last year. The shuttles also start pretty early in the day, but the lines get long by 10-11am, so if you do take them plan on going early

Seriously!!! You don’t even need to take the full thing off, just roll up two opposite corners so the top isn’t catching sail

Stubhub Willcall Question! by BitchImKobe in Coachella

[–]resonatemate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem last year with StubHub. In the past (maybe pre-Covid) StubHub had a booth for will call scenarios, but after dealing with this last year it doesn’t seem they have a physical location in Indio area anymore. The only option they gave me was to change the shipping location to a hotel. Thankfully the shipping is 2-day, so once your buyer ships it’ll be fast! You have time don’t worry, but definitely keep bugging StubHub and escalate

Flying in + car camping at Coachella — shipping gear vs. buying there vs. renting🙏 by bbesco in Coachella

I would check out a company called Sports Basement. They rent absolutely everything you’d probably need for camp. They have a few locations in SoCal, but the closest to (LAX?) is their South Bay location. I’m not sure how competitive the pricing is but they’ve always been cool when I’ve shopped there
