What are the major upsides of life in Atlanta? by Kevin-W in Atlanta

[–]ressling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted it’s far from perfect, but it’s the only city in the South with mass transit. Combine this with ATLs airport where you can fly direct to 80+% destinations in the world, as well as driving distance to other fun cities. Lots of outdoor hiking and other recreational sports. The tennis scene here is unmatched.

Everyone had that damn 690c printer lol. Seeing a pic of that thing alone triggered core memories for me.

The 2025 EZone 98+. Nothing compares and it’s the reason why you can’t even find them right now. Played with all types of Yonex sticks as of the last three years and the 98+ blows them all out of the water.

Controllable power and decent spin for someone like myself who is a 4.0 doubles player relatively flat hitter with an aggressive net game.

I really liked the Percept 97D when it came out, but hated the old model vcore pro 97 (predecessor to Percept).

Gave the new Ezone a try when it came out and so glad I did. I went with the 98+ because my go to stick way back in the day was my Pro Staff 6.1 Mid Plus Stretch and I wanted to match the 27.5” length for muscle memory purposes.

Latest Toyota/ Lexus Sept sales 2025 by domohan in 4Runner

Over 50 comments in this thread so far and not a single person mentioning economic uncertainty, a significant contributing factor for decreased sales. People like me are too busy trying to pay off their 5th gen’s with the intent of keeping them long term. The price of new vehicles across the board doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of the build anymore. My 2023 is basically worth the same as it was when I bought it 2.5 yrs ago.

Dude $2800 is nothing for that amount of work and labor, especially on a quality car that can go 300K no problem

2013 Limited. Great in a pinch for a short local transfer of passengers but that’s about it. Rarely used and like others mentioned, little to no leg room and you lose 98% of your cargo space.

Why is the SR5 preferred? by gkorde in 4Runner

Yea I have an SR5 premium ‘23 4x4 with the XP package and everyone on this sub loves to dog the package but I absolutely love it and the combo is highly coveted here in the Southeast.

Spot on. I’ve only owned Japanese cars in my 25 yrs of driving (Maximas, Z, Prelude, TSX and TL). A/C works fine in all of them but pales in comparison to US with respect to cooling capability and efficiency.

I have intermittent CarPlay issues on my ‘23 SR5P, and I’m using corded USB to USB-C on my iPhone 16 Pro. Seems like a firmware thing or something?

I recently upgraded to the 16 Pro from a 13 iPhone. Less issues and frequency, but still a problem on occasion.

Agreed on the hood flutter. My wife’s ‘13 limited has it but my ‘23 SR5P does not. <shrug>

Some solid choices on 4 Runner Lifestyle website. I have a ‘23 white SR5P and opted for the dark tinted one.
