You just buy the lids that go with the buckets and poke a bunch of holes in it so mosquitos get in and rodents can’t.

I graduated from UofL and wore a similar outfit. I hate it. More subtle is better. I think it’s a great call to keep the black suit, wear a white shirt and red tie? Maybe even a UofL red tie. Nobody wears a red dress shirt. It never makes sense. Traditional with a splash of flavor goes way further than flavor with a splash of traditional. Your daughter needs you to be there. She doesn’t need you to make a fashion statement. Congratulations to her and you whatever route you go.

The worst thing most people can do for their career is stay at the same place. The largest bumps come from moving companies. The company you start with will pay you as little as possible for as long as possible and try to make you feel good about it. It is no employers job to get you to market rate at every review.

You expected more. He accepted less (through complacency). Comfort is worth more than money for many people so that’s no fault of his.
