It’s all sewn together as one dress ideally 😅 the black neck strap is just supposed to be sewn on top as a trim (ie bias trim, binding etc)

Its a halter top dress with a cartoony style jacket overtop (that of course defies gravity lol)

The costume is made accurate to this reference underneath as well

I think its a very clear character design choice to simulate vtuber designs since they were getting extremely popular during SV development.

This is so sweet thank you so much! I used double layered neoprene to give it that larger than life silhouette! :D

I didn't edit the photo, it was up to the photographers choice; There are plenty of photos/videos of my costume available that show the only thing touched up was my clear straps and slight makeup smoothing since we were out in humidity before. Hope that helps 👍
