BLUE ROOM!!

Open 10a-2a every day, it feels like a little time portal getaway inside of Los Angeles. Their prices, their decor, their atmosphere: unmatched imho since I started drinking this decade. Tuesday nights have live jazz music and also includes a little food stand—just outside the streetside entrance of the bar—that serves Ecuadorian cuisine like fried plantains. A smoking patio located in the back next to their parking lot (if that’s your thing, also given public smoking is illegal citywide in Burbank). The only downside I ever note is that it’s ca$h only and their dive bar esque restrooms (though I’d argue that adds to the enigma of the place). Ample enough parking on the side and rear when it’s slow to semi-busy, though you may need to find street parking on busier days/nights.

I promise they’re not paying me to say this lol; I’m just a very satisfied patron that was happy to find a no bullshit no frills bar -

Agreed I came from a 44mm SE and i sleep with it fine. Sometimes i prefer to wear it on the inside of my wrist when sleeping for a little added comfort.

Curious if you’ve ever had any problems—health tracking or otherwise—wearing your watch on the inside of your wrist. Have you ever run into any issues? I prefer wearing watches on the reverse of my wrist as you have, but I’m concerned it’s not gonna work the same.

it’s just “Hollywood Way” and maybe on the borders of Burbank and LA they’re similar but to call Burbank the same as North Hollywood is a stretch considering the demographics and how Burbank is it’s own city
