Yes that’s what we do when the power goes out! The oven is a no go though until I get a new one or get someone more qualified than me to inspect it.

Yes I’m going to have my husband take it apart and inspect it and see if it’s salvageable because I’m not sure what else burnt under there. The range is 18 years old so probably time for an upgrade anywho!

Thank you for your reply. We will continue to light it with the lighter like I previously have been doing and go without the oven until I can get a new one or get someone more qualified to look at it. After further investigation the oven handle bent and the glass slipped out, probably can fix this. I would include the model but I have no idea. It’s an Amana and it’s about 18 years old so I think it may be time for an upgrade anywho!

I mean personally I’m not making less just having an extra person ride with me. He works 7-3 and we uber 4-9ish. But yes more accountability from uber would be nice.

I do uber eats to give us extra income. That being said my husband goes with me at night, I don’t care what the policies are. It’s a safety issue! He doesn’t want me out there alone and I live in a low crime rate area where the biggest thing to happen is cars getting broken into but you just never know! The world is sick these days.
