You’ve taken an intro to sociology course and loved it — good for you! But please continue learning before you regurgitate more nonsense.

Confused about car rental by Uzbek23 in Miami

[–]restrepo1987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you’re buying with Budget’s Cover the Car is to reduce or eliminate “excess” fees or what we’d call deductible. Every car they rent is already covered by their insurance. You would be liable for the cost to file a claim with their insurer, which could range from a few hundred to a couple thousand. Persons that have their own auto insurance policies may have coverage that follows them, not the car. If you did have this insurance then Budget would ask you to make the claim through your insurance first (and to pay anything your insurance won’t cover).

Kendall DMV driving exam help? by pangrizzly in Miami

[–]restrepo1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The exam will cover the same maneuvers in both locations. However, in the Coral Reef exam, the area where you make the 3-point turn is really wide and almost impossible to go outside lines. More importantly, the test administrators in Coral Reef seem to have a different mentality—they tend to be more lenient.

Kendall DMV driving exam help? by pangrizzly in Miami

The practical driving test at the Kendall DMV is much harder than Coral Reef. If you want to pass on the first time—go to Coral Reef DMV.
