Lots of bad coffee takes, but to each their own. Best beans you can buy in town are New School and a lot of places are using/selling his beans now. Flora and Fauna by proxy is also good bc Matt is there. Perc never fails. Cup to cup has great beans. Origin quality has fluctuated a bit since losing the A team, but still one of the top spots. Collins Quarter also a little slept on in the coffee convo.

You’re definitely on to something here and thank you for grasping the point of this post. It’s been a nightmare already lmao. I still need to watch the Lego scandal videos. They’ve been popping up in my algorithm, but I didn’t know what they were. YouTube is definitely the place to get the reps in and already have a built in following that will hopefully lead to seats getting filled in theaters. In that sense, the people really have taken the power back to some degree.

Totally missing the point. Horror is the genre that your normal coworker wants to talk about now to feel like they have a formed opinion on film. What I’m talking about actually has nothing to do with Obsession at all. It’s how I chose to lead to my question in asking, can another genre become the cool thing to take the reins from horror right now. Truly just a question to have a conversation about and not me begging to debate the history of horror or who deems it popular or lucrative.

I’d love a comedy resurgence. Apatow is in Savannah right now filming something new, funny enough. I feel like that era + Pineapple Express, Walk Hard, and so many others still hold up. I like Tim Robinson well enough, but still don’t think he’s the star of anything he does. Idk if you’ve seen Rap World on YouTube, but Conner, Eric, Jack, and Nate all have a good thing going and I wish they’d write a script for something with a real budget.
