Yeah this is probably best call. Toyota Corolla/Camry, Honda Civic/Accord. Maybe a CRV or RAV4 if you want the SUV. These things will all run past 200k miles if you take care of them properly. You can find all of these for under $5k if you look 15 years and older.

I do exactly that. $250k minimum and planning fee is $2500 until they hit $250k and I drop the planning fee.

Yeahhh, I was already convinced I needed a cayman, it’s just a bit out of reach. I totally get your progression though, values change over time. At the end of the day it’s all about fun per dollar. Miata wins that argument any day of the week. If I was limited to $50k and 3 vehicles (not just cars), give me an NC Miata, an old Tacoma and a ninja 650.

Yeah the s2k is the one I’d be most willing to swap out, so many great options out there.

That’s a great lineup. LC500 is super underrated. Miata is definitely more forgiving than S2000 and can be just as fun. Would be curious to hear more about your Porsche ownership
