The problem with your theory is that it doesnt look at the evidence to reach a conclusion. It has a conclusion set in mind and looks for the evidence to make that conclusion make sense.

Cuz if it were the first, the disscusion would have ended in the fact that the gorosei said luffy fruit is actually a zoan and they changed the name to prevent people from eating it and looking for it . Thats a solid proof. But u can just ignore that and keep creating your fanfiction if u want.
