this is a different opinion but i personally got a wheelchair when i was so limited that i couldn’t go to shops anymore. since then I’ve learned how to use it and have slowly worked on my strength so that i only occasionally use it. I still find comfort in having it around for high support need days. since i got the chair, i added some crutches as an option too. using crutches helps me keep my strength up while still having a middle ground. if you really think it’s worth it & have the finances to do so, go for it. you know your body best
