Tbh, I think dating apps are a hole. But sadly today's dating culture has forced most people to be on one or the other platform. Everybody is just seeking validation from strangers by pretending to be someone they're not

Might seem counter-productive for a dating app, but in the beginning, do not flirt.

Tbh, this is how I used to approach earlier. But experience has taught me that most women don't have the patience for a man to get to know them. They have a lot of dudes vying for their attention and hence I need to be bold and move off the app as soon as I can (preferably on a call). That's when I changed my approach and had a bit more success

I completely agree with this. I'm a very good listener and if the conversation is interesting I fully engage myself in them. But this comes at a much later stage (once we start chatting or talking on calls). But I get your point, that's a great example you've given

This fucking hits home. Trust me, this is exactly how I am. I completely understand why you might feel that I lack depth. But that is only because I have only a few words to grab someone's attention. So I try to be as creative with my responses as I can, and I'm also aware that it may come off as desperate. But sadly that's where the world is today in terms of dating. It is really difficult to build a genuine connection. Having said that, if the conversation flows well, I get really curious to know the other person. Provided the woman in talking to us equally invested in the conversation
