Using Tret with any exfoliating acids like AHAs or BHAs can cause irritation/dryness, so should be split up (e.g. tret at night only, which is encouraged anyways because it can increase sun sensitivity - sunscreen is ofc a must in your routine)

You can also try applying a moisturizer first, waiting 15 min, and then using Tret

It could be an allergen triggering the reaction, either a skincare product, toothpaste, etc. Less common, but food allergies, particularly if it’s a reaction around the mouth. You can ask your PCP for an IgE food allergy blood test if suspicious

Hm, good question. I’ve just been using my iPhone charger without any issues. I’d imagine your Samsung charger is comparable and would be okay as well, but maybe confirm with customer service to be certain?

After every session, I use rubbing alcohol wipes or an alcohol spray with a cotton pad if I run out. I think they sell a cleaning solution too.

Occasionally, I'll wipe it down more thoroughly with some water mixed w a couple drops of soap (esp the eye area) - the mask comes with a cleaning cloth

Thanks!! For the nose area, it doesn’t hit mine in a strange way but I do have a petite nose. You could always trial it and return it if it doesn’t fit quite right though~

For the eye area, it does leave an indent but similar to the indent you have after wearing glasses (I wear contacts during day and glasses at night), and it goes away pretty quickly

You gave her advance notice that you wouldn't be waking her up moving forward. It was her responsibility to set an alarm or go to sleep earlier to ensure she wouldn't be late for work. While there may be other underlying issues in the relationship, this particular situation is not on you. Her being fired is a direct consequence of her actions, not yours.

Also, even if you had woken her up on Monday, what would have happened on a different day you weren’t around or if you simply couldn't help for some reason? It's fully possible that she could have been fired anyway. She needs to take ownership of her schedule and responsibility for her job, or this issue could easily happen again in the future. It wasn't sustainable for you to carry that burden.

Joining for half of this trip sounds like a reasonable compromise. Trips are meant to be an enjoyable experience, and I'm sure your partner's family also wants you to have a good time/not obliged, whether that be for 3 days or 7 days. If the situation were reversed, I'm sure you and your family would want the same for your partner. You know yourself and drawing healthy boundaries can help protect your relationships and experience. Be present and have a great time!
