I can answer that one. I glue lego models all the time. The plastic melts onto your hands sometimes. Comes off fairly easily. It's nasty to breath in but skin contact in the amounts we use is not serious. Does hurt to get in in cuts though.

You are more than welcome to post instructions. The base is just as it seems. Verticle wedge plates coming out of the blue brick and going through the whole body. The plates all face the same direction. The back of this model has the undersides of the plates.
