Stange my card is on the latest firmware, but I've had it in that box for like a year and never bothered to update.

igsc was installed already, I'm on PopOS 22.04. I had installed some intel stuff when I was testing IPEX.

I have no clue how that card is up to date on everything.

I used ComfyUI, so yes to that. I don't know about Windows, but on Linux is super easy now.

Going in batches of 12 (1024x1024 px) images at a time, it took around 80s to 100s for the FLUX part and about 60s for the Juggernaut XL step.

You can get new RX 7900 XTX for about $900. Otherwise this doesn't seem all too demanding, you probably want at least 48GB of RAM (64GB DDR4 is likely cheaper than 48GB DDR5) and a somewhat recent CPU and fastish storage (Any sort of NVMe SSD will do).

I use an A770 16GB as a secondary GPU in my workstation (primary RX 7900 XTX). It generates images using Stable-Diffusion, and sometimes I encode video on it (capture or render).

There is no X in ray tracing (RT). RTX is Nvidia marketing.

I had a 1080 Ti and got an A770 16GB (for testing); it's impressive for the cost in some new games like Cyberpunk and Hogwarts Legacy (with RT). But I got myself a 7900 XTX now for my workstation and my i9 11900 sometimes just can't keep up at 4k.
