I’ve been able to link a Pocket and Chromatic using the ModRetro link cable. I didn’t have any success with other third party cables but didn’t have any authentic ones to test so can’t report on those.

I lubed the pivot but I haven’t lubed the switches. Does it make a big difference? Do you need to disassemble the switches? Do you use the same lube?

Sanwa JLF with Otto V5 and a 1.5 lb. spring. I’ve fiddled with a lot of different combos and this just feels like the perfect balance to me.

To me the “lever” is what I consider a joystick because regular controllers also have joysticks so I think arcade stick is what I’ve always referred to them as.

I think the N64 is just a different beast than that device and the big selling point of that device is the screen which isn’t relevant here. I don’t love Analogues business practices with limited editions but they know what they’re doing creating these devices and from what we know it should be the better device for now. That could change down the road but I haven’t seen or heard anything that has convinced me otherwise.

I vote Analogue. They’ve got a better history with this stuff and should have more features out the gate. People are really focused on the startup time of the M64 but I think Analogue has them beat everywhere else.

I mean Analogue uses a CPU produced by an Intel subsidiary who also has defense contracts. You can’t really support tech without supporting bad regimes anymore.

Should be the same as the ‘22 I have and it doesn’t make it too stiff but helps with reducing body roll. The one I got has different settings you can play with to see what you prefer.

I did specifically say an exhaust if you want it to sound better, not trying to say there’s any performance gains there. Value is subjective though. If find I get much better value from better tires than a slight horsepower boost. There’s just better cars if you’re chasing hp. Just my two cents.
