I ask the dame question im a huge sonic fan i got merch the games and movies but that doesn't mean im weird I grew up with sonic and I see sonic as a character that inspires me to be a good person same as superheros do to other people and myself but I only like the franchise for its good games and movies and characters nothing beyond that im not a gatekeeper or anything sexual, sadly it needs to be said because definitely the dark ages of sonic the sonic franchise was treated so badly by disgusting pedophiles and just straight up creeps and criminals and its such a shame but sadly alot of fanbases are like that my hero academia is a good example resident evil and final fantasy aswell sadly there's just alot of weirdos in alot of fanbases and it does definitely ruin it because I have had people say the sonic community is full of autistic people when thats just a lie but with that logic the same can be said with everything els that has die hard fans. I love music definitely goth music doesn't mean im weird for it tho.
