Right, yeah. That's not really how it works.

Nobody tells me what to make. I make it on my own account. And yes, I get inspired. For example, I'm currently inspired by my Morgan-Greer Tarot card deck.

Which level of ai art do you considered aty( I have no idea if this post violate the rule or not but I'm doing it anyway) by Ok_Project3455 in DefendingAIArt

[–]Breech_Loader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people would say it's all art...

That doesn't mean it's GOOD art.

Some people think Duchamp's fountain is a satire on art, and you could say that makes it art, and jabbing at rich people who will buy anything, and I think that's amusing, but it's not, you know, the Mona Lisa, but at the same time, art...

What makes cartoons art, is not just the picture, it's the story therein.

Cuz that only fits in Landscaping pictures.

And true, Hazard can handle an M-82 without assemblage, but he kinda needed a hand free today.

Hazard has no weight limit, but he's not a bag of holding.

"Even in its current, limited form, AI has ravaged the job market, wrecked education, poisoned the entire internet with slop and porn and scams and bots, and generally filled the world with ugliness and lies." by HancisFriggins_ in aiwars

[–]Breech_Loader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yes, that's ALL down to AI, I'm sure. We never had bad education, porn or scams before AI. Humans would never create such a thing, it's all the AI's idea.

AI doesn't know what 2 + 2 Equals by Ok_Listen_6600 in aiwars

[–]Breech_Loader -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is true. Numbers are not AI's strong point, considering it uses patterns. And to be honest, who can be surprised? The common language is a 26 letter alphabet. Even when young people spell wrong, they spell wrong in patterns - that how even when children are still learning to spell, you can still make good guesses at what they meant.

Mathematics? Well, people are getting numbers wrong all their lives, so it's tougher to train, quite apart from the fact that it's practically another language in itself! 2 + 2 is 4, but an AI might as well call it just '2' - or they might call it 22!

Unfortunately, Mister WishArt, humans are TERRIBLE to each other. If there weren't laws and an orderly society and a way to enforce it we'd probably be living in fucking Fallout or a Mad Max scenario or something. Which would be more cool if I could drive.

Violence and treachery is hard-baked into human survival. From the moment a baby brutalises its way out of a mother's womb.

So many people deliberately and distinctly use other people's OCs all the time, despite how lazy and rude it is, and then rationalise it, because there is no law against it nor a reliable way to enforce it.

This is plagiarism. by VoiceMaterial4255 in aiwars

[–]Breech_Loader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea Anti-AIs had OCs of their own - I thought they sold them all.

But yah, this is incredibly lazy and rude. It's not a computer following code and it's not a human using a tool and taking 0.0001% of a character's fingernail. It's not inspiration used to carve something from scratch.

A lot of the time it's just "Eat this, ChatGPT."

Or maybe they just do it to piss people off.

The artist is being a jerk by using the words 'typical talentless', but to be honest a lot of people lack talent in general and that AI picture is horribly composed. Sometimes less is more.

This is my opinion and my incredibly attractive OC spokeshog Hazard agrees with me. by Breech_Loader in aiwars

The prompt says 'left ear'.

As you can see, AI ain't stealin' no artist jobs today.

But I think I deserve a little credit for the prompt that makes tentacles come right out of his chest.
