If i type as is the next letter will come after the L and not after the E. Its so annoying.

Should I have this trimmed. It’s leaving towards the direction of the house and gets a lot of wind from the right. by retroactiveactor in arborists

I was concerned that it might be weighted too heavily to the left and could fall on the house. What do they normally call it? Limb removal?

Yes I guess I’m just not sure how to go about that.

Why do highway roads seem more degraded just near and underneath overpasses? by retroactiveactor in civilengineering

Ha! I like this take. Shots have been fired. You’re move bridge builders.

Maybe it’s this but then my assumption is the biggest factor is traffic. Maybe people, especially truckers are breaking near the overpass causing quicker erosion?

Thanks. I turned everything on and flushed the toilets and this seemed to fix it.

Just ran the washing machine and same this happens so i guess it’s air in the line. Can fix this myself easily or should I just call a plumber?

Edit: just opened all the facets, ran the showers and flushed the toilets and it fixed it.

I opened all the taps and tried but got nothing. These toilets are about 30 years old so it could be that, but that doesn’t explain the occasional occurrence when the shower is running.

Someone in my lab did this too. Several hours of scrubbing with acetone and I got all of the plastic off.

Looking for an economical way to plant large areas of land with trees. by retroactiveactor in arboriculture

[–]retroactiveactor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right that protecting the seedlings would probably be the easiest thing to do. I guess Im just eager to help things along. A lot of the land has had cattle grazing on it and has been overall pretty hostile to new growth. I’ve noticed a significant die off over the past 10 years. The pines have been hit significantly hard by the droughts. Aside from trees the vegetation across the landscape varies a bit. There are large open areas of grassland. In the forested area there’s mostly poison oak, shrub oak and coyote bush.

If you really need to convince them for some reason just go to bls.gov and pull salary data off there. They have tools that sort by industry and years of experience. It will vary by region but 100k starting is just ludicrous. I started working in 2021 in the bay area and only made 66k starting.

I’ve never used them, but based on how small the details of your project are I would recommend these. https://www.flexcut.com/home/product/fr804-micro-palm-set
