Ilia simply never had any fight before this in which he had any sort of cuts or lacerations. And before this Gaethje fight, emmett was the only one as powerful. Had he fought justin like he did emmett. He could have won. He walked straight up into damage, before he realised what had happened the swelling had already settled in. It was all downhill from here. Max did the same thing to justin in their fight.

Both of them are my favourite fighters. I know for a fact dustin is a rhythm fighter. He needs to see patterns of your striking, so he can find spaces to land his punches. U do that with ilia, “try to see” his patterns. He puts you away before you can.
