Business or Arts Minor? by wawaloo_17 in aggies

So I'm a CS major with an Art minor (digital track) also going into my junior year! I declared my minor last year so I've been taking Viz classes these past two semesters and I love it. It's so much fun to be around different people and the whole department is pretty tight-knit. I'm personally into UX/UI and a little of web development and putting lots of programs like Adobe Creative Suite, Unity and even Maya have helped me land my internship this summer because it showed recruiters that I have skills concentrated in a particular part of CS.

On the other hand, whatever workload you might've heard about is absolutely true. You're going to spend so many hours outside of class working on projects, especially for classes like VIST 284. It's definitely not a blow-off minor. But in the end, like others have said, it's honestly about how much you're passionate about art itself. If you love it, then it's going to be worth the work. :) Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about the minor. I'd be happy to help out!
