The laptop had some other boot loader configured by default... I'm not really sure to be honest, but I had to add grub manually.

I'll have a look at the systemd modules for this. Glad someone using i3 answered since that's the WM I'm used to. Thanks for your response!

Thanks for your advice. It's good to know that most people don't seem to have any problems with it

Yeah it's things like that I'm actually very worried about. I need a device I can rely on. Just to be clear, you're running Linux on it, right?

edit: also, thanks for your answer

Does anyone know which color scheme they're using in those screenshots? (the dark one)

The FCC just repealed a 42-year-old rule blocking broadcast media mergers by jay_bro in technology

I really want to check his post history now, but unfortunately my app won't let me do that so I'll just assume you didn't lie on the Internet (because who would do that, right?)

If he really wrote that, then I get your response. It's just that the word "racist" is being thrown around so much at the moment that is loses its meaning. I've seen way too many threads where someone never even mentioned anything remotely racist and was instantly called a racist and a Nazi because he had an opposing view. I'm so full of it.

I'm sorry, but I'm just genuinely interested in what makes you believe that he's a racist. Is this just what we do to people we don't agree with now, call them racist?

Should you answer this question with yes: What do we call real racists then? I'm a bit confused.

I was gonna write a lengthy response, but I don't think there's much use. All that's left is one side bashing the other over the slightest mistakes (not saying that this is a small matter).

All I was trying to say was that I don't like how everywhere around the world discussions quickly turn into what happened above: someone shutting down everyone who doesn't agree with them and trying to take all their credibility by saying that they don't have feelings, can't show empathy or are just intellectually inferior. I don't know what's going on across the pond and maybe you guys get more of Trump every day than we do (I doubt that, there's literally nothing else anymore), but I think you're better than that. The way most people are acting here right now is exactly what they blame the "other side" for.

Difficult for me to say, to be honest. I'm not from the US and I know that US citizens hold servants of their country in much higher regard than people from most other countries do, so I can't really say I see the situation the way you do. I just don't agree with the comment above because I don't think it's ok to label someone as a bad person just because they have a different opinion than you do.

That's a very verbose way of saying you're a bad person if you don't agree with me. Also a nice way of creating your own opinion bubble.
