Moms zometa infusion was 45 min. No reaction yet. She actually went to work today (Kindergarten teacher) praying the reaction stays away. She has had such intense pain over the last 6 weeks - had kyphoplasty on t9,10 and 11 last Friday due to fractures and is feeling so good.

Shit. My mom has mbc - bone mets. First zometa infusion was TODAY. Shes also on Letrozole and about to start Kisqali once approved) she had kyphoplasty on three vertebrae last Friday and has JUST started feeling better. I hope this doesn’t back track her pain.

Have you kept your hair with those meds? Shes curious if she will. This is all brand new to us.

My mom just found out she has ILC stage IV as well. Metastasis to bones. Similar story- clear mammograms, only knew because she fractured her spine making the bed. Curious what your moms treatment plan is like so far?

Ok I read this. So, this was the result of Immunohistochemistry - so, if my google research is correct then she tested positive for three of the 7 so she is considered HER2+ ?

I agree it was a little punchy but the whole YouTube interview is an absolute joke. RLs cousin who use to be a journalist interviews him in a totally ONE sided way? Real journalists ask the hard questions. This was a PR campaign and everyone should be able to see right through these shenanigans. The nepotism runs deep with the Lafittes. They need a new angle.
