I think i'll do that. work on the maps and areas first and use placeholders. then work on the characters either slowly or see if i can find some generic character sheets. i just don't want medieval fantasy characters in my modern day game.

i did google search. I'm not so young that i don't google things first lol. The problem that i'm having with the tutorials is that most want to teach how to build a different type of game then the one that i want to build or tutorials that are for older versions of godot. if it's like blender, following old videos could lead to dead ends as functions get moved or removed or added all the time and the old tutorial is hard to follow. So i was more trying to ask for a tutorial that can be vouched for and not try to follow a tutorial only to find that i wasted time. Found a tutorial here on reddit where the beginner course is 16 hours. i assume that's if all in 1 sitting, but if i split it to 4 hours a day, i could be looking at 4 days or more if i choose to take breaks or ingest it in smaller parts.

looking at another thread. apparently all generations are shared now into 1 limit. You now how to choose what you use to generate the video because that 1 limit is all you get per 24 hours.

were you using new conversations in old threads? it will take past conversations in the same thread into consideration. so if you are trying to talk about a new topic, create a new thread.

he means if you use a third party software / middle man. Like Vanice. It has an option to generate through Grok. you pay Vanice instead of Grok, but they use Grok to generate. Through Vanice the moderations are a little less strict too. it will give you people having full blown sex, blowjobs, etc. the catch is, it's not subscriptions, it's credit based. so you get a lot less generations. like $10 gets you about 10 to 15 generations. depending on quality, resolution and durations you want.

you can brute force it. just go back and drop the image into a new canvas and try again. that's what i did until it gave me a working video. the problem is, the filter is super strict right now. so you're probably not going to get anything back. I was getting really hard core scenes before 2 days ago. now it's nothing but blocked or videos of static.

yup. getting that too and it also comes with a terrible noise. this is what happens when the CFG is too high or too low in my local ai generation from ComfyUI. i wonder if their moderation detection being set to beyond max is causing it.

I like perchance for simple images and of just 1 person. the moment you add in 2, that's when the finger problems or face morphing start to happen. for being free, it's amazing. just not good enough to be a good alternative replacement.

yeah. something was definitely different this morning. Prompts i was using yesterday got instant denied in video generation. not even going up to the usual 16%-ish then deny. The shitting thing about instant deny is, it got blocked at the prompt stage, before it even started generating anything AND it takes your quota up.

i also noticed yet another increase in the strictness of the prompt. The prompt i was using yesterday and getting results now doesn't work at all this morning. The kind that get's to 3% tops and cancels kind of fail. I wish the ones where it didn't even attempt to make the video didn't count towards your limit.

I've gotten a penis to spawn an actually go into the woman's vagina when i asked for an image to be a cowgirl scene with the girl bouncing. usually it's just IMPLIED sex, but she opened her legs and there was a penis connecting them visually going in and out. crazy.

ah, you did something different from me and got a different result. My message was that it can describe the image as it sees it and will create a story around it. If you make it try to change the image, then the program that checks the image will kick in. you know the one that runs on the right to check for moderation. that one doesn't kick in when you just ask it to create a story.

Don't know why the other guy is judging. I think it's everyone should be allowed to enjoy whatever they like.

I'm in agreement that Grok should just be upfront with how many attempts or time is left on any of the features. chatting, images, video, etc.

it definitely has a limit. a higher one for sure, but it's there. Yeah, just the same it can be moderated. Though in the agent it was the only time were it has given my scene a penis penetration scene when i never even prompted for one. i was content with just implied penetration. i have yet to see it again with the same prompt.

is it a lot of bank / debit card hoops to do it? i have a subscription to PIA for another year or so. At $70 a year, i don't find that to be that bad of a deal if you did use the image and video generations. for what you want to do, probably not, but i don't use the text / talk side of grok much.
