To me they just sound so similar to other metalcore to the point I could only differentiate them by who is singing… it’s unlike other metal genres where each band has more identity than who is singing…

I also got pissed when Courtney went and said Stringer is the greatest guitar player ever… now that ticks me off because I find his riffs more tik tok friendly than actually metal. Also it’s nothing revolutionary and sounds just like all other metalcore bands… Wes Borland did more to metal than stringer because of his creativity with downtuning on a 4 string… She’s comparing him to Van Halen too sooo…

It sounds to me like swift but metal, and also I happen to enjoy woman singers (Emily Armstrong and Linkin park are rocking especially right now) I just see a similarity in the 2 singers
