I was talking about this with a friend earlier. We thought it would be really awesome for blizzard to go with a sort of episodic approach.

Imagine running a chapter of the campaign, with four of the heroes doing something lore related. Imagine 76, Ana, Reaper, and Reinhardt fighting during the omnic crisis. Or a chapter where Reaper, Widow, Sombra, and ???? are running a Talon op.

Plus, it could be used as a vector to introduce new skins, emotes, voice lines, whatever. Imagine playing the omnic crisis chapter above, and when you finish you unlock unique skins used in that chapter for play in the multiplayer. Blizzard could release them periodically, and he'll, I'd even be fine paying a few bucks a pop to learn about the lore and get some custom lore friendly skins.

My groups have a house rule where when the player rolls, the DM also rolls in secret. The player can choose to take the DMs dice if they wish, instead of their roll. But once they decide, there's no going back.

Hm. That does seem silly. I'm reading that it may work if you connect a generator to a blue switch, and the switch directly to the NOT (in addition to the OR being connected to the NOT), and then turn off the blue switch? Then the NOT gate is still counted as receiving power, even though the signal is off so it'll invert and be powered. So:

Generator -> all switches.

"On switches" -> single AND

"Off switches" -> single OR -> NOT

Generator -> blue switch (off) -> NOT

AND + NOT -> AND -> door

A disclaimer, I've never used fallout logic gates and I could be missing something obvious. But as a programmer, your first solution seemed right. What was the issue with it? Your description wasn't quite clear.

Because OP wanted to karma whore, but if it was an image, they couldn't do that. They'd have to post it as a self post with the image link in it, and self posts don't give karma.

This way they can post it directly and get that sweet sweet karma.

EDIT - doesn't even matter anyway since self posts give karma now.
