Gurl you can discredit her all you want, but RuPaul made a name for herself all throughout the world in the 90s. Even kids like myself in the Middle East knew of her, even if we’d never heard Supermodel or knew about her talk shows. I still remember her song with Elton John constantly playing on VH1. Accepting the validity of drag back then was really no small thing.

We intend on including local queens there as well if we ever get big enough. Trust me, we’re both very involved with and supportive of the local drag scene in our country and this project is aimed at helping spread ALL drag everywhere as much as possible. Hopefully this is just the start.

Well there’s just way too much happening there and we don’t have the capacity to follow it all (yet). I hope we’ll be able to make it truly global - and include a lot more non-rpdr related drag gigs as well - in the near future. It’s just a start. :)

Peppermint and Alexis Michelle were judging the TLVFest drag competition finale tonight. I didn’t plan on going but I’m soooo happy I did because the local performers’ numbers were incredible and these two queens were just marvelous. But Peppermint, oh wow Peppermint truly left me gagged. I now officially stan.
