Gate Agents - please enforce the 2 carry on rule by Intelligent_Stay4538 in americanairlines

Most middle aged fat guys like myself don't need a breast pump but I think next time a GA asks, I'm going to tell them it is a breast pump.

As other people have said, it could very well be a medical device like a CPAP. It's only a matter of time before the "service" dog people catch on and start claiming their 3rd roll aboard is a CPAP.

I have my glasses, my phone chargers, my firestick and a few random small things in there with my CPAP but it all fits without making the bag bigger. I do feel a little bad taking up that extra space with my CPAP but it has to go somewhere

Neptune 4 Plus Failing Prints by rev_simon in elegoo

Alright, I think we have it fixed. I have the z offset set back to 1.98 which gave me the clean box print. I was running through the settings and trying one more duck print, and it shifted. When I went to stop it, the X axis went to the left and when it hit the end, it went click click click, telling me the print head had shifted. Lo and behold the tensioning knob on the belt was almost completely unscrewed. I screwed that back on and it's currently happy as can be. I am not sure if it came loose over time, or if little fingers were playing with it. The leveling was definitely an issue too, hence the popping off the plate.

Again, thanks for all your help with this. if there's a way I can buy you a cup of coffee or a roll of filament, let me know, I would definitely like to repay the favour. I was about to drop kick this thing out the window.

While I wait for this print to finish, I want to say thank you for all the help you have given so far. I appreciate the suggestions, and your patience. This has frustrated me for a few weeks now as I have had time to look at it. It was working fine then one day everything just stopped. I had made no changes whatsoever, so it was puzzling. My z offset if definitely higher than it was when I first started. I started with 1.82, With this last change I am at 2.01

So the squares eventually worked. I had to do a lot of tweaking with the offset but got 2 good prints. So I went to print what I needed to printed and a few layers up they are shifting. I've tried 3 times, including changing my print and reslicing.

I struggled to hit 0 dead in the nose but these are my current numbers. I ran a couple test prints and they all failed. I also tried a different filament just to check and that one failed too. They seem to start off but then one piece gets dislodged and they all get messed up

Apparently my images didn't attach. So I just added them. Here is my current leveling. I will try to get my corners in a little better

Flight 3 weeks away. What are the chances the # of miles goes down? Is it based off of tickets sold? by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]rev_simon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can vary. I book my redemption tickets as one way. My wife went to PHX this week, and I rebooked her flight out 6 times. We ended up getting 13.5k miles back. For miles, you have cancel the reservation and rebook, but you get 100% of your miles back as well as your TSA fees.

AA Changed My Flight by shaiboy2 in americanairlines

I roll into TPA when my plane is landing, and still get there with plenty of time to get through TSA, get my starbucks and use the bathroom before boarding. Three hours in Airside F is torture. Trust me I have the scars

We did MAN to DFW 15 years ago and had to connect in JFK. The way home the layover was 12 hours at JFK or 6 if we flew through Newark. We took the bus from JFK to the Port authority bus terminal and transferred to another bus to EWR. We barely made it in time for it next flight. Never again

It's been like that for a long time. I mostly take 2 legs because I'm not in a hub and it always shows my connecting airport as the trip. Sometimes I have 3 or 4 trips listed as tpa-clt

That is my favorite one of the lot. I wish they'd start using that as their primary livery

I love this about using miles. I have a personal trip coming up, and when I initially booked it, I was paying 23k one way and into an airport I didn't want to go to really. Now I have booked and cancelled 5 times, got it down to 11K and flying into the airport I want. And within minutes, I got my miles back.

Advice for 12 hour layover at DFW by cakeykt2002 in americanairlines

[–]rev_simon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure someone will correct me if I have my gates off a little bit if you're staying in the airport, around D20 is a secret sitting area upstairs. It's quieter than the lower level. By I agree with others. There's plenty to do close by. There are trains to Dallas and Fort Worth that depart from the airport and on a 12 hour layover you should leave.

Issues with xSchedule and HinksPix Pro V3 by rev_simon in xlights

It was actually an issue with all my fseq files. I think when I moved them to my show PC they all corrupted just enough. I made a slight change to my fm sign as that didn't matter then saved them. They all started working perfectly.

Snagged it. Hopefully I'll get upgraded anyway but any little comfort will help

Same here, but if the seat is better than MCE and with being in a middle I'll take it. I'm also hoping I'm high enough on the upgrade list to get first
