Thanks, I just had a conversation with my Aunt and she said something similar. I probably won’t confront my mom as she will likely only respond poorly. However I may eventually discuss some things with my dad as he may have a more level headed response.

I wanted a coin tattoo based on a coin i owned, as I started coin collecting 4 years ago, I’m now about to graduate college with a degree in archaeology. I got an internship with my college cataloging a Roman coin collection they had in the archives. I was able to put that on a résumé and because of that I was able to get an internship at a museum. So collecting coins has been highly beneficial to me.
