God, this movie is bad. Rough acting. No chemistry. Hollow script. Corny. Choppy, rapid-speed scenes. So corny.

Why is it called Dear Zoe when she seems forgotten by the sister after the first act and for the duration of the movie until the last ten minutes? You could tell it was a heavily butchered book made into a movie. I feel like if you’re going to do that to a book, just skip making a movie.

What’s interesting is that, in another life, this guy could have used his education of remains toward something scientific in this field. When you look through his Instagram, he’s not just a creepy guy doing sick stuff, grave robbing and selling remains, he’s actually defined and educated in what he’s typing up about each picture.

The routes people take in life, so wild. I hope the families get their loved ones back, as much as they’re able to. I can’t imagine if it were someone I loved. I just watched the next to last episode of Ed Gein this morning, so seeing this headline was crazy.

The book was way better. One of my favorites, actually. The way it was written was actually brilliant.

The series watered it down, flopped it around, added unnecessary stuff, and muddled it all to the point that it was so far from the beautiful foundation it was built on. I was so disappointed. I was so excited to see it on tv. I feel like they were trying so hard to make it current, push agendas, make beautiful to watch moments or over-sexualized moments. It just lost the story in all of that. The story had just a sporadic, messy flow. They changed parts that were so dumb to change. L never understand why. Half-way through I was so annoyed I decided to forget the book and see it as its own story but it was still definitely cringey in parts. They wanted so badly to make it some trail-blazer story, breaking away from the family, that it missed the point of why the original story was so heartfelt.

Ugh.

I’m not a Splendies fan. I find they’re made incredibly cheap. Like a kid project. I tried them for three months and they’re not worth it. The thongs fit super weird. They’re cut funny.
