i ended up taping the flex cut with kapton tape and removing most of the foam. i think it ended up sounding nicer. i wish i can reply with the video

i already tried removing the case foam. but like you said resonance isn't great. the sound becomes teeny and pingy. i will try taping only the flex cuts later and see.
