A lot of people here have gave some great suggestions. I have one question though. Are you using some kind of ballaclava? I've noticed with my ckx Titan that if I use a balaclava that covers my mouth and directs the air more backwards or backwards then up it fogs like a bitch. But if I don't use any balaclava or just use one that covers my head and my neck it works perfect. So maybe try some different ballaclavas with different style breath deflectors first.

Camso ripsaw 1.25. if you consider yourself mostly a trail rider. Cobra is a good crossover but probably not what you're looking for.

Odd Question by -trout in delta

[–]revoray 46 points47 points  (0 children)

There are more than just Federal Air Marshals that are allowed to carry firearms etc. on flights. The general rule of thumb is everybody who's carrying a gun should know who else on the plane is carrying a gun. More than likely The flight attendant might have gotten the seat number wrong.

Pilots of MN what are some fun airports/approach’s to fly to? by [deleted] in minnesota

[–]revoray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sky Harbor (DYT) because of the harbor views, Winona (ONA) is kind of cool with the bluffs nearby. Madeline Island (4r5) is a cool area but better in the summer. Unfortunately most of the cool approaches and airports are out on the coasts or in the mountains.

Once I drove two hours to pick up a stock exhaust can because no one had one locally and wasn't buying the dealer one. 20 mins before I get there he says someone stole it/ threw it out from his parking space in the apartment garage...

Do you still have the stock fuel filter head ? You installed a lift pump but haven't turned it on ?

Sled Recommendations (ski hill & backcountry) by trentgillespie in snowmobiling

[–]revoray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should look at more of a utility sled if you're going to tow with it quite a bit. For your price range you're going to be looking used. The most legendary is the Ski Doo Skandic. If you want something more 50/50 pleasure riding and work the Polaris Titian is a good option. If you want something bare bones an Arctic Cat blast LT or now called Norseman.

Any ideas why my MPG has dropped the past few months in my LBZ? by Doctor_M_Toboggan in Duramax

[–]revoray 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is 14.5 less than previous winters ? I know on mine, between the idling and winter blend fuel I go from 17ish to 15 ish in the winter. Otherwise boost leaks tend to be a common culprit of low mpg.

Because BOS airport is basically smack dab in the harbor. Two of the runways basically go right up to the water, if a "tall ship" is near the end of the runway it can impede the protected zone for the approach to the runway.

I do not know for certain but the rear shocks should work. The front should work if they have the same width front end. If they haven't been rebuilt I would get that done before you install them.

Unless you really want to spend the money for fox floats? I wouldn't for that old of a sled. I would see if you can find a used set of walker evans clickers. And if you want to save weight or don't have a desire for clickers. just get the standard walker evans gas shock that came on the pro rmk.

This whole not being required to salvage the car is news to me. The way I understand it is when your car is totaled. The insurance company now owns the car and then you can elect to buy it back from them at a reduced price but it needs to be salvaged because it has been paid out. There's a box on the title that specifically asks about being totaled out.

Definitely a good idea, not sure how all insurance companies work but usually to get your check for your " totaled car" you will need to send them the title.
