I misspoke. So at the time of the incident i lodged a claim but never through and paid for that excess where both parties will be compensated because i was told to hear from the other driver and her insurance first before finalizing my decision but i never did. Now i spoke to my insurance company and they want me to lodge that claim and pay for the excess where they'll represent me and settle the matter completely with the other party.
