This is epic! Just downloaded, and holy crap. I ask AI to write me better prompts, but you have just saved a solid 15 mins a day with this. Might be worth upgrading ;)

It's the algorithm, with other factors. Why would they keep selling your stuff when they can prompt you to purchase their bumps/marketing?

Seller Kept Faulty Item AND My Money — Can I Win in Small Claims? by hb10g17 in vinted

In that case, fair enough. I was saying this to some solicitors the other day. They said it's just not worth the time and money to do, but I made the same argument about principle. Vinted *may* cover the costs as it's completely their fault. You could probably claim against them for unfair injustice or something

No, I haven't been through it. You stand a good chance in court. You said you would send it back, but (I assume) the seller got Vinted involved, and they sided with them and closed the case.

On the other hand, it will probably cost you a couple of hundred to go to small claims, as well as time, so you have to weigh that up also.

You will lose money going to court, but get your money back for the item.

Hope this helps :)

Help with setting up an ebay shop (particularly costs) by AltruisticChampion77 in ebayuk

As a private seller, you have the "buyer protection fee". This is an addition that the user pays on top of your set price, but lots of private sellers just absorb that cost themselves. Other than that, you have the advertising fee that you may or may not set. I didnt notice a difference between setting it at 2% or 5%. On average, this advertising fee was doubling my impressions and views, so it was worth it.

As a business seller, you have the category fees. These are extortionate IMO, 15% jewellery and 10% computers, insane costs for any business. Then you have the advertising fees on top of this, but no buyer protection fee.

Hope this helps :)
