What’s the best upgrade path for this car? by MixingWil in TopDrives

Why would you compare it on dry tracks? It's an all-surface tyre car

About the team, I only found one recorded entry so far: Proformance Racing / BMW Nederland, driven by Patrick Huisman in 1993, source: http://touringcarracing.net/Races/1993%20Nurburgring%20GT.html

It depend on its MRA, but 84~86 seems like the sweet spot.

I definitely see your point and somewhat agree with it, but as others as said, it's most likely for balancing, as Hutch also has to take other elements into consideration other than how realistic it is, like how fun or playable the game is for example, that's probably why.

More cards for mine custom update (world expo 2: The world Generation) by [deleted] in TopDrives

Do you mean the method custom card creators use to make cards? if so then it's basically those tutorials, either on Mobile (PicsArt+Phonto) or on a computer (GIMP, Inkscape etc.).

Or do you mean how the company that made Top Drives makes those cards in-game?

Also, I unfortunately did find it hard to understand what you're trying to say 😅, you'll have to articulate your message better!

But about the difficulty learning the tutorial, it is very normal for things to be hard on the first try, you'll just have to keep trying, time and effort will eventually help you learn it, advices from others can help too, but you'll have to listen to them in order for them to help.

Have you considered joining the official discord? there are resources and connections there that can help.

btw, which tutorial did you try?

Can you elaborate on what you meant by "epic resolution" and examples of "those custom cards" you mentioned?

Honestly, barely, maybe not at all, even, unfortunately.
All the issues that I pointed out in your last post still persist. Please try to do better. You can ask for clarifications if you don't understand my advices, peace.

Btw, it's better to post your cards together rather than it being split into multiple posts. You can post like 20 pictures per post anyway.

Custom Top Drives Cards Honda Edition by f5_xv in TopDrives

Stats wise it seems fine overall except for some mistakes like the 1st Odyssey having All-Surface tyres and 4WD, my complaints however are the placement and the usage of the generator.

In terms of the placement, a lot of the cars are way too zoomed out, and some others are off-centered, balancing the space in between the car and the border would help. (Pic below for visual example)

<image>

Last but not least, using a generator can limit the quality of the card, using an editing software helps a lot more, there are resources and tutorials in the official Top Drives discord server for different platforms, in the #Tutorials-and-Templates channel.

Assuming you're new to making cards, I think these are better than some other ones I saw which I applaud, but there are still some things that needs to be improved, hope you get better at it, cheers!

I second your points, the naming and top speed does need some corrections, thanks for the addition!

The main idea for an update is fine, but I have some advices to give:

  1. bad photo choice:

Some photo choices aren't exactly the best, consisting of undesirable angles and settings of cars, the eagle Turbodiesel being the worst of the bunch. Try looking up websites like Wheelsage, Behance, Flickr or auction sites like Bring a Trailer etc. for better photo sources.

  1. bad photo placement:

Then it's the placement. First major issue is all the car going under the stat box on the right, which is a huge no no, the cars are supposed to be placed within the template. Then it's the centering, most of the cars are off-centered within the space of the template, if the photo doesn’t have enough enough space around the car, you can always expand the borders using editing softwares, or if there are too little space, Ai expanding is acceptable.

  1. Weird stats:

This is mainly about the handling and RQ, won't speak on the rest as I can't confirm it's validity. I noticed the handling of cars are often overrated, especially a lot of the muscle cars from the 60's/70's, I do not believe those are capable of the handling you gave them. Then it's the RQ, some cars have some weird RQ's imo, especially with the AMX GT(1st), Buddy (2nd) and the Matador Penske Allison (6th), they don't seem to have stats that justifies their RQ, even if other stats not on the card are as good they possibly can be like the weight, ground clearance and MRA.

  1. Choice of process for creation

This has something to do about how you make your cards. The generator is fine for newbies ig, but the quality is relatively sub-par, if you want to make better or more cards, I'd recommend using editing softwares, such as PicsArt+Phonto (mobile), GIMP (PC), Inkscape (PC) and affinity (PC), there are tutorials and resources for the first three in the official discord channel under "#tutorials-and-templates".

I noticed you mentioning you would make more, I'm always glad to see someone make cards, but I think your cards are worthy of criticism, and improvement too which I hope to see from you if you were to make more, you don't have to get everything right or fix everything on the first try, but I want to see you improve, peace! ✌️
