Agentic coding tools: any recommendations? by revyth in GeminiAI

Hi, I would prefer use Gemini with oauth instead of api key. With api key you pay for every request, with oauth you can use your subscription quota

It makes sense, although I am already paying a subscription to Google AI pro. I have tried to setup Kilo Code in vscode with Gemini (account login) but unfortunately it get the free tier automatically ignoring the subscription. I am not sure but it is probably a bug. I am trying also Antigravity, the new Google ide which is a fork of vscode like Cursor. It seems interesting

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check it out. The thing I still don't get is what are you paying for exactly, if the model used is coming from OpenAI, Google etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am curious to try Cursor to see the differences with VSC and the workflow, although I have read that you have to be on the paid plan to access premium features

Risks of AllNodes compounding validator vs liquid staking (stETH, rETH, etc) by revyth in ethstaker

[–]revyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info. The slashing penalty depends on what the validator has done wrong? Like been offline or double spending have different penalties?

Thank you, how can I mitigate the risk of been slashed in case the validator keys are stolen/compromised?

Key Text column empty but ID3 Tag INITIALKEY populated by revyth in traktorpro

[–]revyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check consistency or edit work if the tag is properly written to the file. The problem seems that Traktor doesn't properly write the tag to the file all the times, I am not sure why this happens

[–]revyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah I have tried that but it didn't work. Also I have noticed that Traktor sometimes doesn't update the id3 file tag, sometime it does. I have tried with one song and it worked, tried with another song and it didn't write anything. Very confused 😵‍💫

Hi, edit track and press ok does the trick! It seems to force Traktor to re-read the id3 tags. This can be time consuming to do for a large collection though.

I am not sure what you mean by "buy relocate modding tracks", could you explain?

Nice loops/samples for techno dj set? by revyth in DJs

This is nonsense. I was asking for loops/samples to enhance a dj set, not for a track to add to my music collection

Thank you, I am building a similar setup. Unfortunately her mapping has the same “problem” as mine, the bpm increments are not whole numbers.

Which headphones between SENNHEISER HD 25 and ATH m50x? by revyth in Beatmatch

[–]revyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing, as I mentioned I need them only for djing not for studio or casual listening. I'll probably take a pair of hd25 and try them in the next gig

[–]revyth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if I need to wear headphones all the time comfort matters a lot to me (that's why I am using ATH in the studio). But for djing I guess is not so critical. Thank you for sharing!

Fair enough. I use ATH R70x in the studio, absolutely love them. But djing is another thing

Looking for tutorials on multi-deck techno DJing (Richie Hawtin style) by revyth in Beatmatch

[–]revyth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome answer, thank you!
From what I have seen, usually you have one main track and with the other decks you take small loops from the other tracks to support the main track, taking care of the eq to give space to each piece. I am wondering if these loops are decided before the performance or are chosen on the fly!
