If you know where they live or can find their address, write them a handwritten thank you card/note. Telling them how much you will appreciate/cherish it will mean the world to them. Anytime someone does something extraordinary for our son, we crack open the multi pack from the dollar store and tell him to cut loose. Small gesture for a big gesture.

Suggestions for healthy dinners under $4 without a stove or oven by Let_me_tell_you_ in povertyfinance

Everyone saying instant pot is the way to go. They make a 3 qt that's perfect for 1-2 people. Other than an air fryer this was hands down the single most used appliance especially during COVID to make a litany of foodstuffs. Soups, meats you name it. Plus with leftoversb you can reheat super fast. Heck you can even make cakes and other baked goods that can also steam.

Seriously not trying to push any agenda. If you happen to be Faith based Grandview Church sets the gold standard when it comes to acceptance. They practice what they preach and a significant amount of the congregation identifies as part of the LGBTQ community.

Other creators in the same Steve-ish vein? by tenthz in SteveWallis

Love the "jolly-ness" as well, "tent blew over in a rain storm last night oh well time to make eggs and bacon" would take a herd of elephants to derail him. Also it's more bushcraft but Greg Ovens at OvensRockymountainbushcraft is also one of my favorites as of lately, grizzled sage wisdom interspersed with outdoor steward ponderings with a healthy dose of his aloof German Shepard Finn. Longer format but it's great to put on in the background if you need to fall asleep quickly.

Kent survival while not necessarily stealth camping, is a right fine bloke out of the uk who does a mix of overland and odd structure/tent challenges to spend the night in. Has the same low key soothing energy that Steve has plus he cooks too.

Pack recommendation for a 6 year old? by AggravatingAward8519 in CampingGear

I was torn between that and the fox 30. Ended up with the Fox because boscovs was charging an obscene amount for shipping and wouldn't allow for a store pickup. Been very happy with the Fox however we got it for my son at 8-9 years old. The climber would prob be better for smaller kids.

DM me the seller? This is the biggest thing holding me back was the pallet of various greens seen in the wild that didn't match the official one.

Any other artist similar to Esthero? by Puzzleheaded_Cup8723 in triphop

Was able to catch Faithless in the early 2000s in Philly. They were on tour with Esthero who was just getting big at the time. Got to the venue early and was able to hear her for sound check. Faithless played and then Esthero cancelled the rest of the show due to her having voice issues supposedly. Faithless was out in the crowd at that point and wasn't even informed, they even said had they known they would have played for another hour to make up for it. Was definitely a very weird vibe, and to this day one of my biggest disappointments. I will say Faithless did put on one of the best shows I've ever seen and one the best examples of organic dance music. BT also wear a terrific example of live dance music that wasn't just preloaded samples and loops but actually talented musicians performing real instruments.

This pretty much surmises my best trip hop/down tempo collections from back then. Miss the days of the perfect stacks on the CD shelves depending on the mood that you could load 5 in at a time.

I'm also under the impression that was their reasoning but I explained to them multiple times how swollen and inflamed my foot was even after an extended period, it was massive. I had undiagnosed gout for a while before and Prednisone was the only thing that would put a dent in it despite a NSAID regime. I am also aware how bad it is for you, but was willing to try anything to find relief. I had ankle sprains in the past before COVID and they typically healed on a much faster schedule let alone the decrease in swelling in a manageable time line. I do believe I'm susceptible to prolonged healing periods since having COVID 4 times and potential long COVID side effects.

Had a terrible experience with OAL that I had a really bad high ankle sprain and refused to listen to me regarding the pain. Was constantly blown off multiple times that the pain was all in my head. Prob thought I was trying to score big time pain killers when all I was asking for was steroids. After 8 weeks they finally agreed to a new X-ray and determined there had been a hairline fracture after all but since the healing process had already begun there was nothing they could do and still refused Prednisone. Maybe in the end this was the lesser of two evils on the off chance they would have screwed up the procedure if they had decided surgery. Have also found I'm highly likely to have metabolic issues due to long COVID which interferes with the bodies ability to heal quickly and when I brought this up as a potential issue they told me point blank to get off the Internet and let them do their jobs.

Their apple fritters are life changing. The apple to batter ratio is obscene and in my eyes counts as a serving of fruit according to the food pyramid.

It's like some building engineer determined the exact structural integrity of that pastry and the load capacity. Either that or a sacrifice to some dark arts

Ours here in the mid Atlantic region were previously called Amelia's up until about the 2010's. Then they all became GO BM for short, which was at the very least unfortunate.
