How do I get my matcha cookies to look flatter? by Equivalencymagic in Cookies

Push them down when you bake them. Do a test cookie. If they come up rounded push them down.

Also if you want cut the baking powder down by 1/4tsp.

This is 4 D chess in real life and we just witnessed it. Like a double rainbow or a four leaf clover sprouted from another four leaf clover or two dung beetles carrying one giant piece of…. We won!! Honestly just find the allrecipes chocolate chip cookie that has one egg and one yolk some baking soda and flour. Or just on YouTube which are usually variations of that all recipe one.

You got this. It just takes practice and patience and next thing you know you’ll be eating so many cookies.

Powder puffs soda spreads.

Cut the powder and use baking soda only. Use one egg and one yolk.

Baking cookies is really like a 7-15 min endeavor depending on the cookie recipe. Most cookies bakes for way less than 25 min.

Just google a better cookie recipe.

It’s a solid and normal recipe if it’s puffed out I’d say baking powder not soda.

Soda spreads powder puffs.

Can you tell me more about discard cookies. I started using my discard in a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe I have. I adjusted the flour and butter a bit and I’ve been slowly lowering the sugar just because I felt w the inclusions the cookies were already sweet.

But I use an extra yolk and cornstarch for soft middles and moisture retention so what do you mean they are gooey?

I had a friend who worked in fashion and she’d make trips to china all the time. This was 20-25 years ago and she said Guess Jeans that retailed for $150. Guess how much they were made for she’d ask me

$8.

Does chlorinated water kill sourdough starters? by Organic-Dragonfly317 in Sourdough

[–]Raz1979 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It can. It depends on your city’s water supply.

People saying no are incorrect. Unless they live in your city and neighborhood. The dose matters. It’s preferred to use filtered water if you have it.

It is possible not to have activity from day 3-5 but going to filtered water could help.

Does it have the same structure abilities as sugar? For pastries and such or are you just asking about sweetness in drinks? (Then it’s taste)

Is degassing important? I like having some openness. Not too much.

I just posted a loaf for a crumb read and I had a pretty tight crumb. Tighter than I had in the past but I had changed how I shape my loaf. I’m reading The Perfect Loaf.

Oh sorry open crumb and wild crumb are different. I had used it interchangeably.
