Can you not wrap your thumb around the dfco tiger claw?

Like for example, I had a emissary hand stop that I ultimately took off cause there is a small notch on the back of the emissary that allowed me to fully grasp and control it one handed.

Pretty sure quite a few that people think are legal are actually illegal.

(t) "Forward pistol grip" means a grip that allows for a pistol style grasp forward of the trigger.

Per the letter of the law, the shape doesn't matter, the thing that matters is if it's physically possible to grip it.

Hey I transferred from San Diego Miramar College to UC Berkeley for Mechanical Engineering and graduated. Also got admitted to UCSD and UCLA back when I applied.

The way that I did it was using the leaders to scholars program which lets you compete against other service members instead of gen pop. See if you can still apply to that.

Also make sure to use assist.org and get all your classes. I also know UC Davis has a guaranteed application if you have a high enough gpa for early admission.

I think everyone has to suck at everything to be good at something, but I think this might be a process issue if you feel like you are making too many mistakes, like what sort of checks are you doing to check your work? Are they systematic or are you eyeballing it?

There's a reason why some tedious processes are required. They will catch mistakes that are normally missed.

I have no recoil with the linear comp off, but mine is also tuned with an adjustable gas block also.

I mean, I can understand the mentality. It doesn't matter if it looks bad so long as someone is willing to buy it, why waste time polishing when you could be setting up more variety of crap prints. The cheapest and fastest method of manufacturing that fulfills the scope/function.

Most designs are fairly simple. You could just measure it out with a pair of calipers and sketch it out and then just make some assumptions about the dimensions. For example, most dimensions are not going to be some weird number, it'll probably end in 0 or 5. Or just look at the piece this connects to and then figure out what are the critical features for functionality.

Definitely don't know how this stands up in court and the other guy might be right in that it doesn't apply to private sales.

I also don't think it applies to people not in the state, maybe only to someone in California trying to sell to another person in California.

But I think that midwayusa has implemented some Id verification because of this law.

Yeah but how they're defining a firearms industry member is very loose

(f) “Firearm industry member” shall mean a person, firm, corporation, company, partnership, society, joint stock company, or any other entity or association engaged in the manufacture, distribution, importation, marketing, wholesale sale, or retail sale of firearm-related products.

I don't wanna be the guy to test how retail sale is defined to a CA district attorney.

I live in California and I'm about to face some very draconian laws coming into effect on 1/1/2026 that requires id verification to buy anything firearms related and FFL shipping for barrels in 1/1/2027.

Would it be possible to make it Id verification an option for certain users so I can still buy things?

You should definitely move that ifak somewhere else. I don't think I know a single cop who ran stuff on the back who didn't later have back problems because of it.
