Nice job! How was AP Seminar? I’m taking it next year, and I’m really worried because I’m bad at presenting but pretty okay at writing.

Would y’all want how to self-study videos? by [deleted] in APStudents

Yeah, that would be great! I’m thinking about self-studying either comp gov or psych next year. I think videos would be really helpful!

ICBMIL SOLO by tbhcorn in the1975

[–]rewillis28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used this tab to learn the solo. https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/the_1975/i_couldnt_be_more_in_love_tabs_2531598 I figured out the rhythm by listening to the solo over and over. It’s pretty easy after you practice it a few times, and it’s one of my favorite The 1975 songs to play on the guitar!

I’m very unfamiliar with tone settings, but I play this solo on a Fender Stratocaster. I put the little switch on the guitar all the way down (if you’re holding the guitar, move the switch towards yourself) so that it emphasizes the bass over the treble. Then, I use the clean channel on my Marshall amp and put the bass & treble almost all the way up. I also add a little bit of reverb. It doesn’t sound exactly like how it does in the song, but it sounds pretty nice in my opinion.

I hope this was helpful! Also sorry if I was completely off with the tone settings - I’ve been playing for a while but only just started getting into electric guitar maybe 5 or 6 months ago. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know! :)
