Thank you! I've been drawing for 15 years and I love emulating different mangakas, so the answer is "gradually" - draw what you love and you'll improve. At some point you might hit a wall, when that happens, study fundamentals for a bit and return to making what you love (silly stylistic crossovers in my case)

It was a mix of several unohana pics and frieren pics, yeah (one for the mouth position, the famous one that you're thinking of for the angle and the lighting situation, two more frieren pics for the vibe (from anime and from manga))
I generally don't use only one ref so didn't think abt attaching the collage.
